Faith Bitsie
TOHATCHI — Funeral services are pending for Faith Jones Bitsie, 70.
Bitsie died May 10, 2011, in Albuquerque. She was born April 12, 1941, in Rehoboth.
A family gathering will be 6:30 p.m., tonight, May 12, at Tohatchi Chapter. Friends and relatives are encouraged to attend.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Michael Black
ALBUQUERQUE — Memorial Mass for Dr. Michael Joseph Black, Pharm.D, 30, will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 13, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Grants. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. A Rosary will be recited 7 p.m., tonight, May 12, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Grants. Deacon Timoteo Lujan will officiate.
Black died May 9, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born May 8, 1981, in Albuquerque.
Black graduated from Grants High in 1999, and graduated as Salutatorian, when he received his Doctorate of Pharmacology from the UNM in 2007. He was employed by Costco and the Apothecary Pharmacies at the time of his death. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed sports, the outdoors, and his Jeep. Black will be remembered as a fun loving and extremely generous person. He was passionate about helping patients and was known to pay for prescriptions, for those who could not afford them. He was devoted to his parents, brothers and his entire family.
Survivors include his parents, Chock Black and Patricia Frigerio of Grants; brothers, Matthew James Black, Nicholas Justin Black, both of Albuquerque; grandparents, Marilyn Black, Margaret Lopez, both of Grants, Gerald Crespin of Bloomfield.
Black was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Lee Black, Vince Frigerio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wells Fargo Bank to the Michael Joseph Black Memorial Scholarship fund.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Grants Milan Elks Lodge, following services.

Mary Pecoraro
GALLUP — Services for Mary J. Pecoraro, 87, will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 13, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Gallup. The Rev. Ravi will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup. A Rosary will be recited 7 p.m., tonight, May 12, at Rollie Mortuary.
Pecoraro died May 9, 2011, in Gallup. She was born May 1, 1924, in Mentmore.
Pecoraro graduated from Gallup High School in 1942. Her hobbies included quilting, playing cards, doing puzzles, ceramics and crafts, visiting with friends and spending time with family. She worked for the federal government at Fort Wingate and the BIA. Her first job was at Firestone Tires.
Survivors include her sons, Andrew Pecoraro of Albuquerque, Charles Pecoraro of Gallup; daughters, Rosemary Pecoraro of Gallup, Deborah McGlamory of Tijeras, Cindy Johnson of Gallup; brother, Charles Tomljanovich of El Paso, Texas; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Pecoraro was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P. Pecoraro; brother, Steve Tomljanovich.
Pallbearers will be Larry Johnson Sr., Larry Johnson Jr., Michael Johnson, Kelly McGlamery, Tommy Tomljanovich, Charles Richard Tomljanovich.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Tom Woody
REHOBOTH — Memorial services for Tom Woody, 57, will be 12 p.m., May 13, at family residence. Al Clarke will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
Woody died May 7, 2011, in Rehoboth. He was born Nov. 19, 1953, in Fort Defiance, into the Red Streaking Into Water People Clan for the Black Forest People Clan.
Woody graduated from Wingate High School and UNM with a BS in liberal arts. He had numerous occupations including being a pipefitter, professor, silversmith, rancher and parent. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fly fishing, being outdoors, ranching and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Woody; sons, Tyson Redhorse, Thomas Redhorse; daughters, Melissa Woody, Toneda Redhorse-Roman, Naonie Redhorse, Tono Redhorse, Valentina Redhorse, Shirley Redhorse; brothers, Albert Woody, Herbert Woody, Leo Woody; sisters, Shirley Clarke, Sadie Charley, Mary Nava; seven grandchildren.
Woody was preceded in death by his parents, John and Susie Woody; brothers, Cecil Woody, John Woody; sister, Ellen Lynch.
The family will receive relatives and friends at family residence, following services.
